Disposable apparatus for analysis of nucleic acids comprises base (1) with an integral heating foil (2). A seal is mounted between the foil and a glass cover (4), over which an outer frame (5) is fitted. The heat produced by the foil heats the reaction chamber and is simultaneously measured optically.
