PURPOSE: A device for inserting alloy iron in refining furnace is provided to improve reaction speed of an alloy iron into much faster, thereby preventing a drop in temperature while the alloy iron is inserted and providing high-quality melting steels by preventing an increase of oxygen in steel. CONSTITUTION: A first alloy iron box(29) intervenes an insert of alloy iron supplied from a shooter. The alloy iron is stored firstly in the first alloy iron box. A door opening/closing means(33) opens and closes a door provided in the first alloy iron box. The alloy iron dropped from the first alloy iron box is stored secondly in a second alloy iron box. A crushing means for an alloy iron(37) shatters finely the alloy iron dropped in the second alloy iron box. A heating means heats the alloy iron crushed by the crushing means for an alloy iron. An alloy iron supplying line(43) supplies the crushed and heated alloy iron into a melting steel in a vessel.
