PURPOSE: A grounding structure of a manhole is provided to discharge an abnormal voltage to the ground, thereby facilitating a construction work, preventing an electric corrosion and reducing earth resistance and surge impedance. CONSTITUTION: The first earth resistance-reducing materials(14) are sprayed on the bottom surface of an excavation vacancy(11) and a copper plate(13) is placed on the first earth resistance-reducing materials. The second earth resistance-reducing materials(12) are sprayed on the copper plate and a manhole(20a) is installed on the second earth resistance-reducing materials. The manhole has a through-hole(22) formed at the side portion thereof and a grounding terminal box(23) installed at the inside surface thereof. A grounding conduction line(25) extended from the grounding terminal box is electrically connected to the copper plate with passing through the through-hole.
