The brake valve (26) comprises a controllable valve and a throttle for the work fluid. The valve can be biased in the opening direction with a control pressure which in principle is independent of the pressure of the work fluid at the valve or throttle. The outflowing side of the brake valve is guided in its closing position over the throttle. Independent claim describes hydraulic actuating device where one of the work chambers of the work cylinder (20) is connected to the supply unit (21) through a lead (21a) with the combined pressure-controlled valve.
