PURPOSE: A kitchen knife having stick-preventing synthetic resin protrusions and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent sliced material from sticking to the face of a knife by attaching many synthetic resin protrusions on at least one face of the knife and to conveniently manufacture the knife without such a complicated system as a press or a die. CONSTITUTION: A kitchen knife is composed of a grip(1) and a blade(2) consisting of a body part(2A), and an edge part(2B). More than two separated synthetic resin protrusions(P) are attached to at least one faces of the body part. The knife is manufactured by steps of preparing synthetic resin gel formed by mixing synthetic resin with a hardening agent, an adherence enhancer and a pigment, dropping the synthetic resin get in the separated state, and hardening and cooling the synthetic resin drops at 60-80deg.C for longer than 30 minutes.
