PURPOSE: A method for linking with a memory extending device through a data interface is provided to improve convenience for data backup/upload using the memory extending device and offer simplicity to the data interface by making the same file system as a PC system and processing only the data with a mobile terminal without link of the file system. CONSTITUTION: In a standby state, a connected linker judges connection of the mobile terminal if the connection of the linker is detected from the interface(S201, S202). In case of the connection of the mobile terminal, a certification procedure for application software of the connected mobile terminal is preformed after a hardware operator is formed to an enable state(S205). The application software detects a data process request of a user(S207). The application software extracts/interfaces user data to the memory extending device(S208). The memory extending device processes/stores the user data in a memory(S209). In the case of the request uploading the user data downloaded/stored in the memory extending device, the user data downloaded/stored in the memory is uploaded/stored to the mobile terminal.
