SIDE ASSEMBLY LINE OF A VEHICLE BODY FOR USING A TROLLEY IN COMMON AND REDUCING THE NUMBER OF RETURN LINES

PURPOSE: A side assembly line of a vehicle body is provided to apply for side assemblies of many kinds of vehicles by moving and returning a semi-trolley used in common by a ram run hanger. CONSTITUTION: A side assembly line of a vehicle body is composed of a ram run hanger(23) for moving and lifting along a moving path(21) disposed at the upper part of a line for progressing each assembly process of the vehicle body side assembly; a semi-trolley(25) loaded to and unloaded from the hanger to load side assemblies of many kinds of vehicles by fixing a middle portion of the side assembly; a plurality of fixing jigs disposed at the lateral sides of each process to fix the sides of the side assemblies loaded to the semi-trolley in each process; a semi-trolley moving rail(45) for moving the semi-trolley from a loading position to an unloading position between the fixing jigs of each process; and a semi-trolley ejector(47) receiving the semi-trolley from the hanger in moving down the hanger to place the semi-trolley on the semi-trolley moving rail.
