PURPOSE:To attain power saving without changing a deflection coil connected to a horizontal circuit load by inserting a resistor between a DC power supply circuit and a load side +B circuit, decreasing the impressed voltage and reducing the horizontal pulse amplitude of the primary winding output of a flyback transformer. CONSTITUTION:A DC power supply voltage is impressed between +, - terminals of a DC socket 1. A resistor 33 is however, inserted, a voltage drop across the resistor 33 is produced, the voltage of the load +B circuit 6 is lowered, and the operating voltage of each circuit is decreased. Then the high voltage impressed to the load 16 of the flyback transformer 11 is decreased. Then the voltage impressed to the DC socket 1 is connected to ground through a transistor (TR) 37 and a capacitor 39 by turning on the TR37. The capacitor 39 is fed to a resonance capacitor 15 of the flyback transformer 11 equivalently, the horizontal pulse of the flyback transformer 11 is decreased, the high voltage of the load 16 is lowered and the horizontal amplitude is widened. Thus, the power saving circuit is constituted. |
