PURPOSE:To replenish a developer to a hopper without scattering it by a simple operation, by making the respective conical opening parts of a rotaty shutter and a fixed shutter of a developer vessel coincide with each other. CONSTITUTION:A developer vessel 14 for replenishing a developer to a hopper is constituted of a vessel body 15, a conical rotary shutter 17 having a sector opening 171, a fixed shutter 18 having a sector opening 181 and a conical partition 183, and a handle member 16. The vessel 14 is adhered to a hopper opening 12, the shutter 18 is fixed by engaging a recessed part of the shutter 18 with a projecting part 211 of the opening 12, the opening 171 and 181 are made to conform with each other by turning the handle part 16 and the developer is reprenished into the hopper. When removing the vessel 14, the opening 171 is closed by the partition 183. Accordingly, the vessel 14 can be attached and detached without contaminating the periphery by scattering the developer, and since the shutter is conical, its opening area becomes large and the replanishment time is shortened. |
