PURPOSE:To improve an effect of radiating frictional heat by forming a concave portion functioning as a radiation surface and a convex portion functioning as a friction surface alternately at equal spaces on the surface of a facing, forming inclined surfaces on both side portions of each concave portion, and opening both inner and outer ends to the open air. CONSTITUTION:A hole 2 for fixing a clutch disc is formed at the central portion of a facing 1. In this case, a concave portion 3 functioning as a radiation surface and a convex portion 4 functioning as a friction surface are alternately formed extending toward the axis at equal spaces on the surface of the facing 1. Inclined surfaces 3a, 3b are formed on both side portions of the concave portion 3, and both inner and outer end portions are opened to the open air. The area of the convex portion 4 is set about double the area of the concave portion 3. In this arrangement, heat generated by friction between the clutch facing and a fly wheel can be quickly radiated to the open air by the concave portions 3 and the inclined surfaces 3a, 3b to improve an radiating effect. |
