The toggle (1) for ropes or cords has toggle arms (2,3) pointing away from one another and between which is a rope holder (4) for the laying of a rope or cord loop. The toggle is formed by two half-shells held together by a locking element in the form of a locking spigot (12) formed on one half shell extending at right angles to the direction of rope pull. The locking spigot by its head engages in the other half-shell when the half-shells are closed, and the rope holder is guided around the spigot in such a way that the locking spigot simultaneously acts as a retaining element. |
