The invention relates to an insert for a cotyloid implant cup for a joint prosthesis, of the type comprising a metal shell (1) and a polymer fitting (14) for the internal region (4) of said shell (1), with a housing (18), for a prosthetic head machined on the fitting (14), said shell having, on the inside thereof (4), means to prevent an extraction of said fitting (14) from the shell (1), characterised in that said means for preventing an extraction of the fitting comprises a socket (11), arranged on the base (10) of the shell (1), having at least one groove (12) or a lip. The invention further relates to a cotyloid implant with a cup and insert of the above type and a joint prosthesis of the above type with a cotyloid implant as above and a prosthetic head. |
