SPATIAL-TYPED INPUT DEVICE FOR INPUTTING INFORMATION THROUGH RESTORATION OF SPATIAL POSITION AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A spatial-typed input device for inputting information through restoration of a spatial position and a method thereof are provided to resolve error of the restored position due to a time-accumulative acceleration error by combining a velocity sensor to an INS(Inertial Navigation System). CONSTITUTION: The velocity sensor(200) measures the first velocity of the input device on a body frame. The second sensor part measures acceleration and angular velocity of the input device on three orthogonal axes of the body frame. A pose information generator(230) generates pose information representing a pose of the input device on space by using the measured acceleration/angular velocity. A velocity converter(240) converts the first velocity into the second velocity of an absolute fame by using the pose information. A position restorer(250) restores the position of the input device by integrating the second velocity.
