摘要 PURPOSE: A signal separating device using the least mean square algorithm and a method thereof are provided to extract a remove target signal such as a voice signal having a big time correlation within the shortest time by using an adaptive FIR(Finite Impulse Response) filter operating according to interpreted results of the least mean square algorithm, so that a user can listen to a high-quality accompaniment sound in real time. CONSTITUTION: The first adaptive algorithm interpreter(420) receives the first signal, plural delay signals, and an output signal, and outputs plural multiplication coefficients calculated by using an adaptive algorithm. The first adaptive digital FIR filter(430) receives the first signal to delay the signal, generates the plural delay signals having one sample time difference with each other to output the delay signals, and outputs a remove target signal created by adding up signals which multiply the plural multiplication coefficients. A subtractor(480) generates an output signal created by subtracting the remove target signal from the second signal.
