METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SQUARE OPERATION ON FINITE FIELD BY REARRANGING LOGICAL OPERATION RESULTS IN ORDER

PURPOSE: A method and a device for a square operation on a finite field by rearranging logical operation results in order are provided to perform the square operating by defining parameters needed for the square operation of a defining polynomial for the finite field, performing an XOR operation needed for the defined parameters, and rearranging the XOR operation results. CONSTITUTION: A parameter calculator(10) calculates the parameters needed for the square operation. An XOR operator(12) is equipped with multiple XOR operators and performs the XOR operation by using elements as input depending on a calculation result of the parameter calculator. A rearranging part(14) outputs the final result by rearranging the output of the XOR operator in the specified order.
