PURPOSE: A portable diagnostic device is provided to obtain an integrated configuration of electrode, amplifier, micro processor and a small DC power source. CONSTITUTION: A portable diagnostic device comprises an integrated electrode unit(1), a signal processing unit(2), a serial signal transmission line(3), and an electrocardiograph signal display unit(4). The integrated electrode unit includes an adhesive surface, a negative electrode having a surface treated with a high conductive jelly, a ground electrode, and a positive electrode. The signal processing unit includes a single amplifier for low power, a single DC button cell, and a single micro processor for low power. The single micro processor has an A/D converter, and a memory for storing analysis programs.
