This invention discloses a network security equipment, which includes a network security process module. The network security process module includes network processor, memory module, network interface module, the three modules interconnect through high speed bus; the equipment uses the powerful chip microcode programming function of network processor and multiple micro-processors to translate multi-levels network protocol and to process the security of network data. This invention also discloses a realize method of network security, the method interconnects the above-mentioned network security equipment and network device; the admin computer configures the network security equipment, and stores the run code of network security process module and the security equipment; the network security equipment translates network diagram, and processes diagram according the security policy. The application of this invention can guarantee the process speed of thread speed in Broad Band environment, and can update system at any moment.
