An oxidant solution contains peroxide, as e.g. hydrogen peroxide or a dissolved peroxide salt. The fuel is a substance able to release hydrogen in a chemical- or electrochemical reaction. The fuels comprise alcohols, amino-acids, aldehydes and their salts, hydrogen peroxide or peroxide-containing fluids.
