An intermediate component (4) enables dynamic power transmission between a socket (2) for engaging a moving component and an opposing socket (3) for engaging another moving component. The intermediate component is made from a single piece of compressible material such that a holding component (6) holds the sockets and intermediate component together under high compression stress. An independent claim is also included for a method of producing a connecting link.
