PURPOSE: A posture controlling seat for a vehicle is provided to prevent postures of passengers from leaning to one side by inertia by changing positions of the seat with a hydraulic device operated according to each traveling state of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: In a vehicle having a seat comprising a back rest unit(22) and a cushion unit(18) and speed and steering sensors for checking the speed and steering conditions of the vehicle, a posture controlling seat(10) is composed of a plate-shaped supporting panel(16) for supporting the cushion unit of the seat; hydraulic devices(20) installed between the supporting panel and the cushion unit to support each edge portion of the cushion unit and to move up and down by an external signal; and a control unit for receiving and analyzing values of the speed and steering sensors to send an operation signal to the hydraulic device and transmitting a control signal. A hydraulic cylinder is used as the hydraulic device and plural hydraulic devices are arranged at each edge of the supporting panel to hold the cushion unit.
