<p>An aqueous coating composition and a method of coating a metal substrate are provided. The composition and method are particularly suitable for use in coating can bodies and can ends or for can side seam coatings. The coating composition includes a solvent component and a film forming component. The solvent component includes water and an organic solvent. The film forming component includes a curing agent and the product of the reaction of a carboxy addition polymer and an epoxy resin in the presence of a tertiary amine catalyst.</p> |
