PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sight line detecter enhancing the accuracy by using a proper sight-line correcting means to automatically correct the mis-detection of sight lines caused by differences in eyeball size among individuals. SOLUTION: The sight line detector includes an image sensor which receives light reflected from an eyeball; a reading means for reading the outputs of the image sensor; a sight line detecting means for detecting an observer's sight line according to the output of the image sensor; and a read area setting means for setting the next read area of the image sensor according to the output read by the reading means. |
