PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal that can flexibly control the illuminance and the lighting time of a backlight LED. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal where the backlight LED 4 is lighted when an operation key is operated is provided with an optical sensor 1 that detects the surrounding lightness and a controller 2 that drives the backlight LED 4 to be lit dark when the operation key is operated and the surrounding is bright or drives the backlight LED 4 to be lit bright depending on the darkness of the surrounding when the surrounding is dark on the basis of the sensing result of the optical sensor 1. |
