PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing roller where negative ghost is restrained. SOLUTION: This roller is equipped with a core bar 12, a conductive layer 14 provided on the peripheral surface of the core bar 12, and a coating layer 16 provided on the peripheral surface of the layer 14. The layer 16 has a thickness being <=30μm and >=4μm, and at least its surface area is made of a porous body. The developing roller where negative ghost is restrained is provided by forming a porous coating layer as the outermost surface layer of the developing roller. Thus, the developing roller is suitably used for a one- component non-magnetic toner type developing device. |
