PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the unit price of power rate without fail by providing means for altering the unit price of power rate being indicated at an indicating section provided in an indoor unit and indicating power consumption during operation of an air conditioner expressed in terms of power rate. SOLUTION: When a 'notice' switch on the control panel of a remote controller 3 is pushed within 40 sec after operation is stopped by pushing an 'on/off' switch on the control panel, 'operating time', 'unit price of power rate' and 'power charge' of an air conditioner are indicated sequentially at the body display section 12 of an indoor unit. The 'unit price of power rate' is set at '23 yen/kwh' at the time of delivery from a factory and when it is altered depending on the region of a user or the year, an 'emergency operation' switch 25 on the body of the indoor unit is pushed for 5 sec or longer. |
