<p>The engine has a combustion chamber (2) with intake channel, outlet channel (3), and fuel supply . The outlet channel contains an adsorption and/or absorption element for intermediate storage of or uncombusted or partially combusted fuel. The element is formed by one very rough surface (4), or by a zone with reduced flow speed, esp. gap and/or a dead water area. Alternatively, it may be a perforated insert (6) in the outlet channel with an intermediate chamber (7) behind. The chamber may contain an adsorption/absorption layer (8).</p> |
