A multicolor light emitting track ball capable of emitting different colors, comprising a light transmitting ball (1), a light transmitting case (2) for storing the inner structure of a detection shaft therein, and a plurality of light sources (31, 32, and others), disposed in the case (2), having an unshown cover and emitting different colors of light to illuminate the ball by radiating lights (L31, L32, and others) to the ball (1), wherein a total of three light sources (31, 32, 33) are installed as light sources to emit red, green, and blue colors which are the three primary colors of light. <IMAGE>
