PURPOSE:To enable the whole of a device to become compact through the shortening of axial length by overlapping in an intricate fashion bevel gears on an axle and the boss portion of a carrier in a tractor and the like. CONSTITUTION:To the end part of an axle case 1 containing a differential yoke shaft 2, is fixed a bevel gear case 4 containing a slanting king-pin 6. A speed reduction gear case 7 supporting an axle 8 is pivoted to said gear case 4 turnably around the king-pin 6, and the king-pin 6 and the axle 8 are connected with each other through a pair of bevel gears 16, 17 and a planetary speed reduction mechanism 18. This bevel gear 17 is loosely inserted by the axle 8 and a sun gear 22 is formed on the outside circumference of its boss portion, and to the axle 8 is fixed the boss portion 27 of a carrier 23, the end part of which is, hereby, inserted into the inside circumference position of the boss portion 21 of the bevel gear 17 on the axle 8, and is made to be overlapped, and thus axial length is shortened.
