Tobacco processing machine, especially for cigarette production, has a moistening arrangement (30) for moistening cigarette paper (12) before it is fed to a gluing position (25). An independent claim is made for a method for gluing paper in a tobacco processing machine, wherein cigarette paper is moistened prior to a gluing stage.
