The casing (1) has a cover which can be opened, comprising a substantially hermetically sealing cover wall and a peripheral surface in contact with the rear wall (2) of the casing when the cover is closed. A tight cable lead-through is provided in the casing for the cables (6) connected to the sockets (5) in the rear side of the computer. The cover, lead-through and rear wall combine to form a compartment for locating the plugs (7) at the end of the cables which is hermetically sealed from the ambient atmosphere outside this compartment.
