The hinge is for articulated connection of doors or panels and makes possible a pivot movement in two opposing directions, with a defined starting position. A hinge accommodation (1) is provided, in which middle parts (2) are located, in which fixture parts (3,14) are fitted for the parts pivotable in relation to one another. On at least one side of the hinge accommodation, the pivotable parts (13,15) are connected with the fixture parts via an accommodation part (10). There is a longitudinally displaceable sliding component (4) in the accommodation part, movable in relation to the panel fixture part (3), which is pressed against the middle part by a pressure spring (6).
