PURPOSE:To prevent the luminous quantity from being decreased near a reference white board by bringing the reference white board into close contact onto an original face. CONSTITUTION:The reference white board is made of a flexible sheet having a thin film thickness, one end is supported to a window frame upper part of a picture read window 3 and the other end is pressed into contact onto a picture face of the original 1 to be carried. That is, in carrying the original 1, since the tip of the reference white board 7 follows to the original face and the board 7 is in close contact with the original face, the production of the shadow of the reference white board 7 onto the original 1 is prevented in reading the original.
