TESTING SYSTEM FOR DIGITAL SUBSCRIBER LINE

PURPOSE:To efficiently conduct the test of a digital subscriber line without the provision of a special test equipment by connecting each channel subjected to time division multiplex on a subscriber line to a subscriber line signal processing unit provided originally for call control so as to conduct the test of transmission line. CONSTITUTION:A central processing unit 12 controls a channel network 4 and sets a path so as to connect a subscriber line signal processing unit 11 to a control channel 13-1 from a terminal equipment. Then a maintenance test signal is sent to reflect the control channel 13-1 to the subscriber line terminator 8 via a channel network 4, a subscriber line terminal equipment 10 and a subscriber line 9 from the central processing unit 12. When the loopback of the control channel is realized by the said maintenance test signal in the subscriber line terminator 8, a synchronizing flag 13-1-1 sent from the frame transmission circuit 11-8 of the subscriber line signal processing unit 11 is reflected and received by a reception circuit 11-2.
