The pallet frame is assembled from cross frames and longitudinal frames with the stack of sheets held between two flanges (2,10) one of which is fixed and the other movable. The stack is secured by a tensioning clamp (3) on the top of the stack. The palletised load is secured to the floor of the vehicle by fasteners to prevent moving during travel. The frame is adjustable to the actual sizes of the plates.
