FIELD: hydropower engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: hydraulic turbine wheel is designed to convert energy of water flow of river into electric energy. Wheel contains blades, upper and lower rims. Inner space of wheel is provided with cylinder playing the part of wheel bushing and hood to prevent getting of water flow to axial zone, two flanges playing the part of wheel hubs, clutch to connect generator shaft with lower rim flange, spokes rigidly connected with flanges and rims. Blades are made in form of length of band whose one end is rigidly connected with spoke of upper rim, and other end is connected with spoke of lower rim, being arranged at angle of 40-50 degrees relative to plate of upper and lower rims. ^ EFFECT: increased power output and efficiency of hydraulic turbine, reduced cost of repair. ^ 3 cl, 2 dwg
