PURPOSE: A blind spot monitoring system for providing blind spot information to a driver of a traveling vehicle is provided to perform a relay function as well as a monitoring function by using a monitoring system having a plurality of communication functions. CONSTITUTION: A first terminal is installed at a first position adjacent to a traveling path of a vehicle in order to generate a first photographing signal for a first monitoring region when the vehicle enters into a first reference distance on the basis of vehicle information including vehicle identification information and position information. A second terminal is installed at a second position adjacent to the traveling path of the vehicle in order to generate a second photographing signal for a second monitoring region. A third terminal is installed at a third position adjacent to the traveling path of the vehicle in order to generate a third photographing signal for a third monitoring region. The second terminal transmits the second and the third photographing signals to the first terminal. The first terminal transmits the first to the third photographing signals. The first terminal transmits a first photographing command signal to the second terminal and the second terminal transmits a second photographing command signal to the third terminal.
