PURPOSE: A credit card, a method and a system for setting a payment assurance tool at the credit card are provided to store financial asset data, related to a customer who owns a credit card, at the credit card for increasing a credit limit when the customer uses the credit card. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises several steps. Financial data related to a customer is stored at an IC chip of a credit card(130) of the customer's own. When the customer uses the credit card in making payment, the stored financial data is transmitted to a server(100) of a credit card company via a credit card processing terminal. The server(100) sets all or part of the financial data as a payment assurance tool. The server(100) controls the credit limit of the credit card or approves a payment request according to the payment assurance tool.
