PURPOSE: An Internet collect call service method is provided to realize a collect call on the Internet and realize a telephone call while hiding a telephone number through a mapping technique. CONSTITUTION: An object corresponding to an actual telephone number of a registrant is mapped at a service site. An applicant transmits the own object to a wanted other party to request a call. If the other party clicks the object, a collect call is requested to the actual telephone number corresponding to the object. If the collect call is requested, the actual telephone number is transmitted to a call center in order to call the applicant through a gateway. If the applicant hooks off, announcement informing a collect call is output. If the applicant wants a telephone call, a call path is formed between the other party and the applicant to perform a telephone conversation and charge the applicant for the telephone call. |
