FIELD: plastic working of metals, namely manufacture of hollow spherical parts. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of filling blank with melt filler poured into annular cavity formed by means of blank and rod coaxially arranged inside blank; using filler whose melting temperature is less than that of blank material; cooling filler until solidifying it; squeezing and forming blank with filler in semi-spherical dies; then heating filler and removing it out of formed spherical part. ^ EFFECT: lowered energy consumption due to reduced mass of filler. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg, 2 ex |
