摘要 PURPOSE:To directly execute a program loaded on a memory by selecting and finishing initial program loading from a magnetic disk device, then turning on an abbreviated selector switch. CONSTITUTION:A part 5 of the memory 4 of a processing device 1 is constituted of a semiconductor non-volatile memory, and when an abbreviated iPL selector switch 3 is OFF, the iPL is executed from the magnetic disk device 7, on the turning on of a power source or by pushing down an iPL switch 2, and a system is started. When the switch 3 is previously made to be ON, the iPL is executed in the non-volatile memory 5 at the time of finishing and processing a system, and a finish flag 6 is set after the completion of the iPL. Thus, an iPL completion state is maintained in the memory 5 even after the disconnection of the power source of the processing device 1. When the power source is turned on next time, because the iPL completion flag 6 is ON, the program of the memory 5 in which the iPL is completed, is executed without executing the iPL from the device 7.
