PURPOSE: A device and a method are provided to prevent loss of data stored in a RAM even when a backup battery is discharged upon elapse of a predetermined time after discharge of a main power source. CONSTITUTION: A mobile phone battery charging device comprises a diode(D1) for preventing back current by permitting the current generated from a main power source(10) for supplying power to a mobile phone terminal to flow to a backup battery(30); a resistor(R1) connected to the diode such that the resistor adjusts the back flow prevented current; the backup battery for receiving the current adjusted by the resistor; and a solar battery unit(200) having a backup battery charging path added thereto in parallel, wherein the solar battery unit supplies the current generated by using the light radiated from sun or a fluorescent lamp, to the backup battery through the additional path.
