PURPOSE: A method of making functional laver by sieving seaweed on a laver net, sprinkling with wormwood powder and then drying is provided. The product has characteristic taste and flavor of laver and efficacy of Lycii Fructus. CONSTITUTION: Seaweed is washed with fresh water, cut to a predetermined size, sieved on a laver net of a rectangular frame, sprinkled with Lycii Fructus powder, dehydrated and then dried. The seaweed is laver which is naturally occurred or cultured. The functional laver contains 2 to 10% by weight of Lycii Fructus.
