摘要 FIELD: thermal engineering; gas-dynamic packing of regenerative air heaters. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed gas-dynamic packing unit has exhaust flue-gas recirculating fan, connecting flues, power-actuated valves, and means for stack gas admission to air manifold in the form of blowoff nozzles disposed along radial and axial packings on air admission end which are, essentially, combination of plurality of parallel ducts, height of each duct amounting to 5 - 7 equivalent diameters, designed to organize steady and stable uniform-speed flow of flue gases along radial and axial packings unidirectional with air flow in air heater; flue gases are extracted from flue downstream of air heater (along gas flow) by means of exhaust fan and delivered to air manifold at air heater inlet; additional flue is provided for admitting flue gases to air (or gas) semi-ring disposed between air heater rotor and housing to replace air transfers through axial packings by flue gas transfers (or to eliminate air transfer through axial packings during pressure balancing in gas and air semi-rings. ^ EFFECT: reduced air transfer to exit flue gases and reduced nitrogen oxide content in flue gases. ^ 1 cl
