FIELD: agriculture, fodder production. ^ SUBSTANCE: the suggested fodder additive contains liquid source of humic acids - tincture out of peat raw material at the content of humic acids being 0.3-30 weight% and a filler as mineral adsorbing agent as opal-cristobalite rocks at 0.1-3.0 mm size. The method for obtaining the suggested mineral additive deals with mixing liquid component with a filler-mineral adsorbing agent-opal-cristobalite rocks at 1:2-3 ratio. The additive "Bivital" is obtained being very convenient at storage. Its feeding to poultry increases egg weight and density, increases egg yield and fodders intake degree.
