SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING A WEB SERVICE TO A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT, SO THAT THE COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT CAN USE A SOAP BASED WEB SERVICE ON THE INTERNET

PURPOSE: A system for providing a web service to a wireless communication equipment is provided to use a SOAP(Simple Object Access Protocol) based web service on the Internet, thereby enabling a wireless communication equipment to perform works using an RPC(Remote Procedure Call) by accessing all web servers supporting a web service standard. CONSTITUTION: A wireless communication equipment(100) transmits a request XML(eXtensible markup Language) document(110) including web service request information, receives a result XML document to the request, and then outputs the XML document. A web service request server(130) extracts web service request information from the request XML document to call a specific web service requested by the wireless communication equipment(100). If receiving the result XML document, the web service request server transmits the result XML document and information of the wireless communication equipment(100), transmitting the request XML document, to a communication base station. The communication base station transmits the XML document received from the wireless communication equipment(100) to the web service request server(130) and wirelessly transmits the result XML document received from the web service request server(130) to the wireless communication equipment(100).
