PURPOSE: A device for detaching an optical disk drive cartridge is provided to equalize a direction that a shutter is open/shut with a direction that a cartridge goes in and out, and to push a shutter by inserting a protruded part such as a shutter opening member into an open groove so that the shutter can be open, thereby increasing the reliability of an operation of opening/shutting the shutter. CONSTITUTION: A body frame(575) is rotatable between an open position where a cartridge is inserted and a locking position where the inserted cartridge is played on a drive body. Supporting levers(571,572) support both sides of the frame(575). Upper side leaf springs(510) press the cartridge downward. A shutter opening member(501) is protruded from a side of the frame(575) to open a shutter of the inserted cartridge. An eject device ejects the inserted cartridge from the frame(575). A latch apparatus(550) fixes the frame(575) in the locking position. A restoring device(560) restores the frame(575) to the open position.
