摘要 PURPOSE: A windshield defroster for a vehicle is provided to quickly and effectively defrost a windshield by heating washer liquid with high-temperature coolant discharged from an engine and jetting the heated washer liquid to the windshield. CONSTITUTION: A windshield defroster for a vehicle is composed of an engine(64) generating the power of the vehicle, a heater core(68) heating air supplied to the inside of the vehicle with high-temperature coolant heated by the engine, a coolant passage(70) connected to the engine and the heater core and supplying coolant in the engine to the heater core, a washer-liquid pump(72) pumping washer liquid for washing a windshield, jet nozzles(62) jetting the pumped washer liquid to the windshield, a washer-liquid passage(74), and a washer-liquid heat exchanger(76). Both ends of the washer-liquid passage are connected to the washer-liquid pump and the jet nozzles, respectively, to supply the washer liquid pumped by the washer-liquid pump to the jet nozzle. The washer-liquid heat exchanger is installed at the coolant passage and the washer-liquid passage, and exchanges heat between the coolant and the washer liquid.
