PURPOSE: A fabric transaction system and method is provided to enable a purchaser to check a changed image speedily based on texture data of the fabric so that it prevents unnecessary reproduction or repeated check processes. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises several steps. A seller constructs the first specification file including fiber and texture data of the fabric at a CAD system(S100). The seller transmits the first specification file to a purchaser(S110). The purchaser views the fabric image via a viewer, modifies the fiber data, arranges the fiber data according to the texture data, and checks the modified fabric image(S120, S130). The purchaser constructs the second specification file by using the modified fabric image, and then transmits the second specification file to the seller(S140).
