摘要 PURPOSE:To accurately and rapidly perform the measurement of prescribed gap depth by constituting the title device so as to perform a prescribed arithmetic processing to find the solution of magnetic gap depth by using a flux saturation value as input and a computer. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic characteristic measuring instrument 5 is constituted of a signal source 50 to add an AC current on the coil 2 of a magnetic head 10, an ammeter 51 to measure a current waveform on the coil 2 and to store it in an internal memory after converting to digital data, and a voltmeter 52 to measure a voltage waveform generated at both ends of the coil 2 and to measure it and to store it in the internal memory after converting to the digital data. In such a case, the computer 53 is provided, and the arithmetic processing to find the magnetic characteristic and the solution of the magnetic gap depth (d) of a magnetic core 1 is performed setting the digital data outputted from the ammeter 51 and the voltmeter 52 as input. In such a way, it is possible to perform the measurement with a few of error factors and with high accuracy.
