PURPOSE: A battery is provided, to inhibit the degradation of an electrolyte at an anode and to prevent the reaction of a light metal deposited on an anode and an electrolyte, thereby improving the deposition and dissolution efficiency of a light metal and enhancing the cycle characteristics of a battery. CONSTITUTION: The battery comprises a cathode, an anode and an electrolyte, wherein the capacity of the anode comprises a capacity component by occlusion and separation of a light metal and a capacity component by deposition and dissolution of a light metal, and the electrolyte comprises a light metal salt represented by the formula 1. In the formula 1, R11 is -C(=O)-R21-C(=O)- or -C(=O)-C(=O)- (wherein R21 is an alkylene group, a halogenated alkylene group, an arylene group or a halogenated arylene group); R12 is a halogen atom, an alkyl group, a halogenated alkyl group, an aryl group or a halogenated aryl group; X11 and X12 are independently O or S; M11 is a transition metal or an element of group 3B, 4B or 5B; M21 is an element of group 1A or 2A, or aluminum; a is an integer of 1-4; b is an integer of 0-8; and c, d, e and f are independently an integer of 1-3. |
